Disc Duplication
Disc duplication, for CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, is the standard production process for short run disc projects. Disc duplication involves copying ("burning") content onto pre-manufactured CD-Rs, DVD-Rs or BD-Rs along with digital printing of your artwork onto the disc surface. Disc duplication is generally the lowest cost per unit option for smaller jobs up to 500 units. Duplication is also the best option if you need discs quickly, as we can duplicate, print and package your discs within 3 business days (or contact us for custom pricing if you need it faster). Packaging is generally digitally printed for short run duplication projects.
Disc Replication
Disc replication, also known as disc pressing, is the professional standard for large run, custom disc manufacturing and is the choice of software companies, major recording artists, music labels, film studios, educational publishing companies and others. Made to order from plastic and other raw materials through an injection molding and stamping process then finished with offset or silkscreen printing of your artwork, replicated discs offer the most cost effective option for CD and DVD projects starting at 500 units and 1000 units for Blu-Ray. Packaging may be either digitally or offset printed for replication projects, depending on the production time and order quantity.
